I love myself too much to stay in this situation.

On intentional decisions and self-trust.

"I love myself too much to stay in this situation."

That sentence came to me in a coaching session a couple of weeks ago, and I can't get it out of my head. Because that's the feeling I've had a number of times in my life that pushed me to make intentional choices — and that I truly believe led me to where I am today: the happiest I think I've ever been.

And that's the feeling my clients start noticing just before deciding to work with me. Sometimes the feeling leads you to make an obvious decision – break up with the boyfriend who is cheating on you – but sometimes it can be harder to pin down what would help, and that feeling of being stuck sucks. I know. And slowing down and looking inward can be scary, but there's no better way of knowing exactly what you deserve than knowing who you are and what YOU want.

And the decisions we make don't need to be drastic. But they do need to be intentional. What do I mean by this? Maybe you don't quit your job because you're having a bad day. But maybe you do decide to take 5 minutes every evening before you close out your laptop to reflect on the day – What worked? What didn't? What's in your control? After one month, you'll have a lot of data to support your "I'm quitting" decision the next time you have a bad day.

Making intentional decisions makes your life yours. Don't waste it living someone else's life.

If this resonated, I have two things for you:

On 23 April at 6:30pm CET, I'm co-hosting a live workshop – Beyond the Performance – with somatic coach Laura Martin. It's an evening designed to help you stop performing and start living from a place that's actually yours. Spots are capped at 25, and tickets are £29. [Grab yours here →]

And if you're ready to go deeper 1:1, my waitlist is open. I have 2 spots opening at the end of this month. All subscribers get 10% off – just reply to this email, and I'll take care of it.

Shine bright,
Nadia 💛

P.S. What's one decision you've been sitting on that you already know the answer to? Write it down. What's the intentional next step?

P.P.S. Subscribers get 10% off everything – reply, and I'll sort it.
