#23 Love is More Powerful than Hate
Hello Sunshine,
It's March! Some people think March is the worst month of the year, but I like to think of March as the beginning of spring – a time when things can flourish and shine.
This month, I want to use my voice in your inbox to remind you that there's always good around us.
Key Takeaways
Love is more powerful than hate. Even when the world feels overwhelming, choosing love for yourself and others is a radical and necessary act.
Good things are still happening. Every single day, quietly and consistently, people are doing brave, beautiful, and kind things. The news doesn't always show it, but it's there.
You don't have to have it all figured out. Sitting with uncertainty, choosing hope anyway, and showing up for the people you love. That is enough.
Like most of the world, I woke up a couple of days ago to the news that the US and Israel had attacked Iran. The prospect of another war is terrifying. The killings, deportations and detentions in the US are also terrifying. Instability across the globe is terrifying.
There's so much wrong in the world. But I look at my son, and I have to believe that there are better, much better times coming.

I believe that there is more love than hate among us. And that love will prevail.
Hate is getting the main stage right now. But that doesn't mean there's only hate. Far from it.
Some good things that have happened in 2026 so far:
Alysa Liu winning gold at the Winter Olympics – After retiring from figure skating at just 16, she came back completely on her own terms, fuelled by joy rather than fear. At the 2026 Milan Cortina Games, she became the first American woman to win individual gold in 24 years. She did it her way with a huge smile on her face the whole time!
Giant tortoises returned to the Galápagos – For the first time in nearly 200 years, giant tortoises are roaming the Galápagos island of Floreana again, thanks to one of the most ambitious ecosystem recovery projects ever undertaken there. A species once presumed lost forever, coming home.
The UK switched on its first geothermal power plant – In Cornwall, the United Downs plant went live after two decades of development. It will power around 10,000 homes with clean energy. Progress is slow, but it is happening.
Ireland made its basic income for artists permanent – A programme launched during the pandemic to support over 2,000 artists was made permanent this year, with studies showing it generated enormous social and economic benefits. Creativity matters. People matter.
Love is consistent, and its voice will be heard.
I want to use this privilege of being in your inbox to remind you that we are stronger together and that the only thing more powerful than hate is love.
PS. If you didn't watch this year's SuperBowl Half Time Show, do it. It's a beautiful message.
My monthly challenge is to do something that shows yourself and/or those around you a little extra love. Because you deserve it, and so does the world.
This month's journaling prompt:
How can I show up for myself in a better way?
Take 10 minutes with this. Let whatever comes up flow onto the page without judgement.
Shine bright.

Hi, I’m Nadia!
I started my personal growth journey when I realised that, even with all I’d achieved, I wasn’t truly clear on what I wanted. That sparked a deep dive into self-discovery, and along the way, I discovered and studied tools that helped me reconnect with myself, and now I support other women to do the same.
If you’re ready to find more clarity, book a free clarity call, I’d love to support you.
