Your Monthly Dose to Happiness
#10 Reframing Success
Hi friend,
Happy Monday! How are you today? I hope your year is off to a wonderful start and you’re feeling excited about all that’s ahead.
If you’re new here—or even if you just need a little reminder—know this: You are magic today, tomorrow and every day✨
This month, I’m sharing my thoughts and personal experiences on success and accomplishment—what they mean to us and how they shape our daily lives.
Save the date! ☀️
Our second community workshop will take place on 21st February at 4 PM UTC. Spots are limited, so check out this month’s challenge to learn more and secure your place. I’d love to see you there! 💛
Key Takeaways
Success is Personal: True success isn’t limited to societal benchmarks; it’s about what brings you joy and fulfilment.
Celebrate the Small Wins: Everyday moments, like learning something new or connecting with others, are accomplishments worth recognising.
Reframe to Empower: Redefining success on your terms fosters confidence, happiness, and freedom from comparison.
Accomplishment is when something is achieved successfully, and success is the fulfilment of an aim or purpose.
By these definitions, accomplishments can encompass anything we successfully complete, and success can be found in achieving what we set out to do. This perspective opens the door to recognising a wide range of accomplishments—from doing your laundry to finishing a PhD.
Until recently, I believed accomplishments and successes were the “big things” in life—the ones that make parents proudly share your stories with their friends:
Successfully graduating from a well-known university
Landing a highly competitive graduate scheme with a global company
Being recognised as a top talent at a Fortune 500 company
Running the London Marathon (with no runners experience)
Yes, these are significant accomplishments in my life, and I’m proud of them. But I’ve come to realise that there’s so much more worth celebrating.
When I left the corporate world, I sensed concern from people around me.
“How will she have a sense of accomplishment now?”
“What will success look like for her?”
It’s true that my days look very different now, but I’ve realised my sense of self isn’t defined by my work or my education.
Accomplishments and success feel different today—more personal, and more aligned with who I am now. It’s about the little things that bring me joy and a sense of fulfilment.
Writing something I’m proud of and hitting publish to share with others
Working out and relishing the post-workout energy
Reading another chapter in a book and learning something new
Connecting with like-minded people across the globe
Cooking a delicious meal to share with my husband
Believing in myself and following my passion
I’ve built a routine that lets me feel accomplished every day.
I feel productive.
I feel happy.
And I feel confident in the path I’m taking.
Reframing success and accomplishment has been life-changing. It’s allowed me to feel fulfilled daily and given me the freedom to stop comparing myself to others.
We’re all unique, with our own paths to follow. Success doesn’t have to be monumental—it can be found in the small, intentional moments that make you say, “Yes, this feels right.”

My monthly challenge is to reflect on what success means to you and to celebrate all your moments—big and small—without fear or judgement. 🌟 Not sure where to begin? Join me for a community workshop on 21st February at 4 PM UTC, where we’ll dive into redefining success and embracing your unique journey.
