Your Monthly Dose to Happiness

#14 Stop Overthinking & Decide in 30 Minutes

Hello Sunshine,

Happy Monday, and welcome to a new month filled with potential!

As always, here’s my gentle reminder to carry with you as the month begins: You are magic today, tomorrow and every day.

This month, I’m diving into a common experience many of us face—overthinking—and inviting you to join me for the next community session on 27 June, where I’ll guide you through a technique from my AlignHer programme to support you in making a decision in just 30 minutes.

Key Takeaways

  • Overthinking often feels like thinking for clarity, but it usually leads to confusion and exhaustion.

  • You know you're overthinking when you're looping the same thoughts, talking to multiple people, and still stuck.

  • Join the 27 June session to experience this powerful method in a supportive, like-minded space—or reply to get the free resource if you can’t make it.

Are you overthinking?

“think about (something) too much or for too long.”

The Oxford Dictionary

Now, while there’s no exact definition of too much or too long as it’s subjective. You know, deep down, when you are overthinking something, you’ll often feel it in your body, like tension, anxiety, or mental exhaustion.

If you keep telling yourself you aren’t overthinking but are feeling any of the below points, you might want to recognise that you are telling yourself tales.

Signs that you are overthinking:

  • You keep revisiting the same thought without finding a solution.

  • You’ve spoken to multiple people but still feel stuck.

  • The thought distracts you from other areas of life.

  • You make a decision, then immediately second-guess yourself.

Sound familiar? You’re not alone—we’ve all been there, guilty of overthinking. At work, in relationships, or in moments of change, overthinking can take hold, tricking us into believing that more thinking = more clarity. But the truth is, the more we spiral, the further away from clarity we get.

I have “suffered” from overthinking. Here are just a few thoughts I’ve allowed to invade my brain on loop for far too long:

  • “What could I have done differently?”

  • “Is this steady salary worth how I’m feeling?”

  • “Why did she end her message with full stops? Is she annoyed?”

  • “Should I post this?... Should I delete it?”

  • “Should I have said/done that differently?”

  • “Why me?”

These thoughts became mentally exhausting. I’d feel drained, and then judge myself for not being able to move on faster.

Through my studies, I discovered an incredibly effective mind-scrambling technique that guides you through a set of four magic questions designed to bring clarity fast, without spiralling. It helps reframe your thinking from emotional overwhelm to thoughtful decision-making. And I fell in love with the results both for me, and for my clients.

You’re Invited

In my next community session on 27 June, I’ll be walking you through this tool live. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to use it any time overthinking starts to creep in. If you can’t make it live, just reply and let me know—I’d be happy to send you the free resource to use in your own time. Because, after all, sharing is caring. 💛

My monthly challenge if this resonated, sign up for the session and experience the magic of moving through overthinking with support. If you can’t attend live, hit reply and I’ll send the free resource your way.

Hit reply and let me know if you can relate to this story. I always love hearing from you.

Shine bright.

This month’s book recommendation:

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas is a series that follows Feyre, a mortal huntress swept into a magical world of fae, curses, and unexpected love. What begins as a fairy-tale twist becomes a gripping story about healing, power, and found family.

I loved how it helped me disconnect and let my imagination roam—it brought me back to myself with fresh clarity.

Hi, I’m Nadia!

I started my personal growth journey when I realised that, even with all I’d achieved, I wasn’t truly clear on what I wanted. That sparked a deep dive into self-discovery, and along the way, I found tools that helped me reconnect with myself—and now I support other women to do the same.

If you’re ready to find more clarity, book a free discovery call—I’d love to support you.
