Your Monthly Dose to Happiness
#12 Embracing Growth, Gratitude, and the Beauty of the Present Moment
Hello,
Happy Monday and happy spring.
I love spring; I think it might be my favourite time of the year. It’s not too hot, not too cold, flowers are blooming, and everything looks more inviting. Spring always puts an extra spring in my step!
If you’re new here—or even if you just need a little reminder—know this: You are magic today, tomorrow and every day✨
This month, I’m just embracing life and sharing gratitude, and I hope it allows you to reflect on your life, too.
Key Takeaways
Mindset is everything. Appreciating the good and letting go of challenges faster has made this year the best one yet.
Slowing down is powerful. Listening to your body and honouring your needs without guilt can lead to deeper self-awareness.
Connection matters. Skill sharing, a supportive partnership, and meaningful relationships bring immense joy.
Celebrate the ‘normal’ moments. What seems ordinary is often something we’ve worked hard to create, and it deserves appreciation.
Gratitude shifts everything. Consciously recognising what’s working and making intentional changes where needed leads to a more fulfilling life.
As I look back on 2025 so far, and yes, I know there’s a lot of the year to go. I can’t help but be filled with a sense of peace and gratitude, and honestly, that’s a special kind of feeling I wish to continue feeling, and I wish for you to feel it, too.
That doesn’t mean every day was dreamy or that everything worked out perfectly—far from it.
The year has been full of surprises, unexpected slow downs and general life ups and downs. And yet, it’s been my best start to a year so far! My mindset has been the biggest factor in making this the best start to a year yet. Why? I appreciate the good things so much more than ever before and I try my best to learn something from the challenges and let them go quicker than ever before.
I’m more sure of myself, what I want and how I’m going to get there. This inner clarity allows me to communicate better with others and keep myself accountable for my actions.
Some things that have stood out to me as I reflect on the beginning of the year:
My ability to slow down and listen to what my body needs without feeling too guilty about things not going to plan.
Skill-sharing with two amazing women. I love to share so that we can make one another better as we go.
The partnership my husband and I are creating together. I feel so supported and seen, and that feels magical.
Having my mum and parents-in-law get along so well.
The amount of love my husband and I felt from our friends and family as we celebrated our marriage earlier this month.
The routine I’m creating in a new location.
Regularly catching up with friends who are in a number of different time zones.
Some of these things would be easy to overlook, either because they don’t seem like a big deal or because they seem so normal that we take them for granted. But the truth is, nothing is truly 'normal'—we work hard to create the lives we live, so why not appreciate every moment, big or small?

My monthly challenge This month, I challenge you to slow down and reflect. Notice what’s working in your life and consciously appreciate it. Then, consider what’s not working and ask yourself: What small change could I make?
Hit reply and tell me—what’s one small but meaningful thing you’re grateful for this month?
Shine bright.

My name is Nadia, and I’ve dedicated my life to personal growth and development. My journey began when I realised that, despite my achievements, I lacked clarity in my own life. This sparked a deep quest for knowledge—reading, attending workshops, and receiving formal training. Each experience led me closer to self-discovery and equipped me with tools to support others on their own journeys.
If you’re ready to gain clarity and take that next step, schedule a discovery session with me—I’d love to support you.
